Taste and See the Beauty of the Philippines
Heavenly, that is the word that best describes my experience at Ridge Park Tagaytay Kainan Sa Kubo Bulalo! As I walked the grounds and sampled authentic Filipino Food at the cafe I immediately knew that this is the spot tourists like myself will want to come to for slice Heaven in the Philippines!
The vibrant flowers, in every shade of color, with the contrasting beauty of the blue waters that surround Taal Volcano is a picture perfect site. Honestly, I could stay in this spot all day! The scenery was mesmerizing and the breeze refreshing!
We ordered from the Ridge Park restaurant menu and were pleasantly surprised to find outstanding quality! Each bite of crispy sardines (Tawalis) made me wish I could visit this eatery everyday! We chose to have the broth of Tagaytay Bulalo (beef bone marrow) that was deliciously light, flavorful, and balanced.
The Ridge Way restaurant freshly brews a delicious cup of coffee grown and roasted in the Philippines. Benguest Coffee is the famous coffee bean from Baguio. My bold but not bitter sip did not require a splash of cream and a sprinkling of sugar! The powerful body of the coffee is unique in flavor components and has a sweet earthy aroma.
At the Ridge Park restaurant you can order food and sit outside at one of the picnic tables or in one of the Kubos or wooden stilt houses There are inspirational sayings on wood plaques throughout the park, hammocks, and tire swings. This is a MUST-STOP on a trip to the Philippines but plan to stay for a few hours, you will be so happy you did!
Here are some snap shots of what I experienced today at Ridge Park in the Philippines!
